Shell Gas and Energy Philippines, Corporation (SGEPC) was formed as a new member of the Shell Companies in the Philippines as the corporate entity for the Shell LNG Batangas Import Terminal Project.

As the government works towards a low carbon future, it looks at natural gas as the “fuel for the future”. We at Shell consider natural gas as the “destination fuel” because of the three A’s: it is abundant global gas resources and geographically diverse; environmentally acceptable complementary supply to renewable. As such, natural gas is an important component in the long-term sustainable energy mix.

SGEPC aims to be Shell’s local arm in supporting the Philippine government’s aspiration to provide cleaner, diverse and sustainable energy supply for years to come.
Total Gas & Power is focusing on developing its LNG supply access into the Philippine market.
