Dr. Ir. IGN Wiratmaja Puja

Prof. Dr. Ir. IGN Wiratmaja Puja is a faculty member of the Mechanical Engineering Department, ITB. He received the Bachelor of Technology degree in October 1987 as the second best graduate, from Institut Teknologi Bandung. In May 1994 he received Master of Science degree in Engineering Mechanics from the University of Kentucky, USA. He then continued to pursue a Ph.D. degree in Engineering Mechanics which he was awarded in May 1996. His expertise is mainly in engineering design, integrity, and risk assesment for piping, pipeline and surface facilities for oil&gas industry. His industrial experiences are including as an engineering consultant for PT Pertamina, PT Pertagas, PT PGN, Conoco Phillips Indonesia, Beyond Petroleum, Chevron, Pearl Oil, BP Meruap, Total Indonesie, etc. He has also taught several short course for industry such as Onshore & oshore pipeline design, Pipeline integrity, Pipe Stress Analysis, Fitness for services, Risk based inspection, etc. Now, He’s assisting the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources as a Minister’s Sta Expert on Institutional and Strategic Planning in the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources Republic of Indonesia. He’s also became the Chief ofAcceleration Team on Conversion from Oil Fuel to Gas Fuel and the Chief of Acceleration Team on Renewable Energy.

Amien Sunaryadi, Ak, MPA, CISA (born in Malang, 23 January 1960, age 54 years) is a former vice-chairman of KPK from 2003 to 2007. After moving from KPK, he served as Senior Governance and Anti-Corruption Ocer at the World Bank Indonesia. In August 2012, Amien joined Ernst & Young Indonesia in Fraud Investigation & Dispute division Services (FIDS) as Partner. On November 21st, 2014, Amien ocially sworn in by the minister of ESDM, Sudirman Said, as Head of SKK Migas.

Hendra Jaya is President Director of PT Pertamina Gas since September 2013, subsidiary of PT Pertamina (Persero). Immediately prior to joining the company, he was President Director of PT Nusantara Regas (2011) a joint venture company between PT Pertamina and PGN.

He began his career with Pertamina as Exploitation Engineer and has extensive experience more than 20 years in many aspect of upstream business with Pertamina Hulu Energi (PHE) and Pertamina E&P for various position, such as General Manager JOB Pertamina-Medco E&P Tomori Sulawesi (Dec 2008), General Manager HSE Pertamina E&P (August 2008), and Field Manager Rantau Pertamina E&P (2004). He gains many specials assignment during his career with Pertamina. He graduated from Bandung Institute of Technology and earned Master’s degree from Prasetya Mulya Business School Jakarta. Recently he took Executive Education at Stanford Graduate School of Business.

He joined Pertamina in 1990 and most of his career was spent in the eld of shipping, marketing and business development. His last position in PT Pertamina (Persero) was Senior Vice President Corporate Strategic Growth.

Greg Karpinski is the Executive Chairman and CEO of MAXpower Group Pte Ltd. Previously, he was a Managing Director with Standard Chartered Private Equity (“SCPE”), Co-Head of SCPE’s Energy, Resources & Infrastructure (“ERI”) team and Co-CEO of the USD660m Standard Chartered IL&FS Asia Infrastructure Growth Fund (“SCI Asia”). With more than 17 years of energy and infrastructure investing experience, Greg joined Standard Chartered in 2007 to facilitate the launch of the ERI team within SCPE. A core member of the SCPE team, he played a key role in completing over USD1 billion equity investments in Asian and African power, transportation, shipping, telecommunications, water and environmental services companies. Prior to this, Greg was a Co-Founder and Partner of Arizona Heart International, a provider of cardiovascular care in Asia and the Middle East. From 2001 to 2006, Greg worked at InterGen, a global power generation company, then a subsidiary of Royal Dutch Shell, in Asia and the United States. Before joining InterGen, Greg spent three years with British Petroleum in the United States. Greg holds an MBA from Boston University (United States) and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Tufts University (United States).

Last 3 positions are Medco’s Asset Development Director, Vice President of Project Capability at Medco Energi International, and Project Manager at BP Tangguh LNG Project.

He started his career working for ARCO as Structural Engineer and has later worked with BP in several major developments domestic and internationally before joining Medco. Graduated from Bandung Institute of Technology in Civil Engineering, continued his Master Degree in Finance from University of Indonesia and Project Academy at Massachusettes Institute of Technology.

Ron Heron, Vice President with Moatt & Nichol, leads M&N’s global Energy Practice. Mr. Heron is a veteran of the energy industry with over 30 years of experience in the planning and design of marine and energy facilities. He has been involved with over 20 floating LNG import and export terminals, and also has extensive experience on marine projects involving liquid bulk, LNG, petrochemical, and oating LNG terminals globally. 

Mr. Heron is also very active in international technical activities devoted to improving the state of practice in the field of waterfront engineering. He was a Principal Author and Project Manager for the development of the California State Lands Commission’s Marine Oil Terminal Engineering & Maintenance Standards (MOTEMS). He is also chairman of PIANC Working Group 153, developing a new document called“Recommendations for the Design and Assessment of Marine Oil and Petrochemical Terminals.” In addition, he has author of over 50 technical papers presented worldwide, relating to the planning, design, upgrade and rehabilitation of facilities in the marine environment.

Prior to joining Galway, Karthik had an excellent career with a wide range of commercial Gas and LNG experience from Wood Mackenzie, HSBC and Crisil. Karthik has worked on a number of consulting assignments relating to Gas/LNG markets, LNG import and export terminal project conceptualization, contracting, commercial negotiations, corporate strategy and competitive business environment projects for IOCs and NOCs across Middle East and Asia. Karthik is an engineer cum MBA.

Since 2011, Ir Jarman has served as the director general for electricity in the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources for the Republic of Indonesia. Before his appointment to this position, he served as the assistant deputy for energy within the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprise, where he worked from 2002 until 2010 before joining the Ministry of Energy. Throughout his tenure within the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprise, Jarman simultaneously served as the commissioner of state-owned coal company, PT Bukit Asam, Tbk. Jarman also previously held the role of commissioner for PT Indosat Tbk and, currently, is the commissioner for PT PLN (Persero). Jarman graduated with a degree in electrical engineering from the University of Indonesia (UI) in 1981 and obtained a master of electric power engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, USA in 1991.

Mr. Fazil E. Altri has been the President of PT Medco Power indonesia since December 2003. Mr. Altri joined PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk. in December 2003 as the Power Project Director for Medco Energi in Indonesia. His previous work experience includes positions as Development Coordinator for Mobil Oil Indonesia. Previously joining Medco in 2003, he was GE Energy Products Country Manager for Indonesia.
